3.1 General Provisions Betting Rules for Matches That Do Not Start Match Retirement (Withdrawal) Cases If a retirement or disqualification occurs in a match, all unresolved markets will be declared void. How the markets are settled in case of retirement depends on the “Tennis Retirement” Settlement Rules option configured on the CTRL platform. A market is only settled if the outcome is officially determined. Example: If a match is ongoing at 4–4 in the first set and a player retires, the market “1st set total games over 9.5” will be void, as only 8 games have been played. A tennis match is considered officially started when the first serve is played. Tie-break A tie-break is counted as one game in game total markets. Market Settlement in Case of Retirement Winner Market: With the configuration option, if a retirement occurs (and at least one point has been played in that match), the player who advances to the next round is considered the winner. Winner of Set X: In case of retirement (if at least one point was played in that set), the player advancing to the next round is considered the winner. Winner of Game Y in Set X: Same principle applies: if at least one point has been played and the match is stopped, the advancing player is considered the winner. Walkover If a match ends in a walkover (i.e., the opponent withdraws before the match starts), all markets are declared void. If the Match Is Not Played as Initially Scheduled In the following cases, all bets remain valid: Change of match time and/or date Change of match location Change of surface (from indoor to outdoor or vice versa), either before or during the match If player or team names are shown incorrectly, the bet may be voided. 3.2 Betting Rules for Matches That Start If a player withdraws, cannot continue, or is disqualified, all unsettled betting markets are void. In cases of delay due to rain, darkness, or other reasons, all betting markets remain unsettled until the match resumes. If a penalty point is awarded by the umpire, all bets for that game remain valid. If the match ends before reaching the specified point or game total, bets on those specific points or games will be voided. Settlement and Cancellation Rules If betting markets remain open due to an incorrect score and this significantly affects the odds, we reserve the right to void those bets. If players or teams are listed incorrectly, we reserve the right to cancel the bets. If a player stops playing (e.g., due to injury or withdrawal), all unresolved bets are declared void. In a Bo3 (best of 3 sets) format, if the match ends with a tie-break, the tie-break is considered the 3rd set. Each tie-break or match tie-break is counted as one game. Mini-breaks during tie-breaks or match tie-breaks are not considered for betting settlement. If a player retires immediately after a break point occurs, it is considered that the break point occurred. Code/Time Violations and Forfeits Bets on points awarded due to the following will be void: Two or three code violations Second time violation Four code violations or events resulting in the end of the match Official ATP Results and Bet Type Definitions For official ATP match results, bet type definitions, and detailed point breakdowns, refer to the following link: ::link: https://results.tennisdata.com/en/definitions
